ONG THO'S RAW MATERIAL AREA QUALITY-CONTROL PROCESS

The quality of our rice production does not begin at the processing line—it begins in the field.

The integrity of every grain is shaped by decisions made long before harvest: where the rice is grown, how the soil is managed, which seeds are selected, and how farmers care for their crops.

To guarantee such consistent purity, safety, and superior flavor, we have developed a comprehensive quality-control system that governs every step in the raw-material supply chain. A rigorous standards we apply across our cultivation zones.

RAW MATERIAL AREA QUALITY-CONTROL PROCESS

1. Selecting the Right Cultivation Zones

  • Conduct comprehensive soil and water sampling, along with agrochemical and soil-fertility assessments, to identify the most suitable growing areas for each rice variety.

  • Prioritize regions with established, responsible farming practices that limit the use of fertilizers and plant-protection chemicals, applying them only when truly necessary to minimize chemical residues in the final crop.

  • Choose areas with climate and seasonal conditions optimized to preserve and enhance the unique aroma and flavor characteristics of each rice variety.

2. Seed Quality Control

  • For ST24 and ST25 varieties, 100% of seeds used are certified and verified by the original breeders.

  • For purple rice, red rice, and macrobiotic (functional) rice, only pure, locally selected varieties are used. These are monitored directly by agricultural technicians with college- or university-level specialization.

3. Controlling Agricultural Inputs

  • We strictly comply with regulations prohibiting the use of any fertilizers or plant-protection products that are banned or outside the list approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Plant Protection Department.

  • All fertilizers and plant-protection products used must follow the safety protocols issued by the Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection. Every product is verified for origin, certification, and regulatory compliance, and applied according to instructions from field-supervising technical staff.

  • All contracted farmers are required to maintain detailed cultivation logs, recording every field activity from land preparation and sowing to harvest.

4. Quality Control of Commercial Rice at Harvest

  • Harvest timing is determined and scheduled by qualified technical officers responsible for each raw-material zone.

  • Harvesting and transportation are organized to ensure that 100% of paddy is delivered to drying facilities or processing plants within 24 hours of being harvested.

  • Each household, cultivation area, season, and field plot is assigned a unique code, and samples are retained for full traceability of every harvest cycle.

Commitment to Quality at Every Step

Our dedication to strict raw-material management ensures that every grain of rice delivered to consumers meets the highest standards of safety, nutrition, and flavor. By combining scientific analysis, responsible farming, and disciplined traceability, we protect the integrity of our products from field to table.

This is not just our process. It is our promise: to deliver rice that is consistently clean, trustworthy, and of exceptional quality.
